Dead Bunnies

Dead Bunnies
Stories by KJ Stevens

A girl skips church to pick through the county dump with her father. A man headed to the lake to end his life picks up a hitchhiking clown. A father and daughter hold funerals for the small animals their cat brings home while they wait for someone they love to wake.

Children see too much. Marriages come apart. People reach for one another and sometimes make things worse.
